Pernell has a sound background in the property industry and an in-depth understanding of property transactions. He is the founder and Director of the
national agency Arizto Real Estate, which employs over 150 staff throughout New Zealand.
Pernell’s in-depth property trading experience includes trading more than 50 residential properties. He has firsthand knowledge of the key factors contributing to a successful property transaction.
Pernell’s management and financial experience extends into the education sector as an alumni and active member of Dilworth School, which has over $1B of assets under management. Additionally, he is the current Treasurer of the Dilworth Old Boys Association.
Hayden oversees all business operations and is responsible for final sign off on any loans which are approved.
He is experienced in raising private capital, having done so for years prior to Finbase, when funding his own projects.
Hayden’s first hand experience in completing more than 60 real estate projects assists him in identifying pitfalls in property deals, as well as having an in-depth understanding of how to structure such transactions to protect an investor’s interests.
Hayden is connected with an excellent network of investors, developers, valuers, and real estate agents and has an adaptable approach to quickly mitigate risks and adapt to market changes.
Jordan is the head of our investment team.
His role is to ensure that Finbase investors are regularly updated with new funding opportunities, and are kept informed of any trends or changes that are happening in the marketplace.
He draws on 16 years of experience across the finance industry, technology and sales. Jordan is passionate about understanding our client’s individual investing requirements, and tailoring a solution to fit.

Eliza is the head of Finbase’s Financial team.
Her role is to manage all our financial operations, processes and reporting. She is dedicated to ensuring that our financial systems and business operations run efficiently and seamlessly.
She brings 8 years of experience as the Group Office Manager at one of NZ's largest finance companies. Her expertise spans startups, SMEs, and corporations domestically and internationally.
Tegan leads Finbase’s marketing team, where she oversees and has final sign-off on all marketing channels, ensuring information is accurate, engaging, and relevant.
Tegan’s marketing expertise is fundamental in generating a steady supply of quality investment opportunities.
She has a decade of hands-on experience in marketing, event management and customer service. In addition to this, she has recently completed her postgraduate studies in marketing at Auckland University of Technology.
Jack is the head of our loan origination team.
He has more than two decades of experience in the non bank lending industry across both New Zealand and Australia.
Jack is extremely well connected among mortgage advisors and aggregators, and promotes communication between them and Finbase.
He aims to facilitate smoother and quicker interactions for everyone.
Omali is an experienced Loan Management Officer with extensive banking experience in both New Zealand and international settings.
She manages the administration of all of Finbase's loans, effectively running our loan software system and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
Omali holds international and domestic qualifications in Banking, Finance, and Financial Services specialising in Residential Lending.
Brendon is Finbase’s anti money laundering compliance officer.
He brings over 7 years of expertise in real estate, management and AML compliance to Finbase.
His role is to ensure AML compliance programmes and risk assessments are adhered to, manages the AML audit process, and ensures our clients complete their customer due diligence (CDD) to meet acceptable standards.
Karina is an experienced Investment Administrator with more than decade of experience working in financial institutions, both in New Zealand and international settings.
She is responsible for the contractual, administrative and documentation filing of the investor's portfolios, and ensures our systems are always up to date.
Along with her wealth of experience, Karina holds international and domestic qualifications in Business Administration and Applied management.
Our Company is continuously investing with Finbase who provide us with 1st Mortgage investments, with safe LVRs and very competitive returns. Agreements and statements are well formulated and state of the art.
